Help organize the MCES Clothes Closet
Graces of Gurley is asking volunteers to step in and help maintain the Children’s Clothes Closet at MCES. The 1st clean-out day will be Saturday, October 12. They need some strong guys to help lift heavy boxes and lots of hands to sort, organize, and clean. This is a great opportunity for families to serve together. Van Driver Volunteer
We are looking for someone to drive clients to the Care Center on Mondays for food boxes. Must be 21 and have a good driving record and references.

Volunteer to be a PAL to a MCES elementary or middle school student
We started our Jacob’s Ladder Jr. ministry in the fall of 2020. Our kids love coming to Bible study, playing games, and fellowshipping together. We need loving adults to come along side them and be their cheerleaders. This role is similar to a mentor but does not require as much of a commitment - you have the flexibility of coming to meetings when you can, have lunch with them at school, send them cards in the mail or send a text just saying “have a great day”. All volunteers working with youth are required to give references and pass a background check.
Current Need…
Graces of Gurley’s flagship program is our Jacob’s Ladder Youth Mentor Groups. We need helpers on Tuesdays and Thursdays passing out snacks, talking to the kids about their day, and keeping them on track during Bible study and activity time. Graces staff members will lead and teach. All adults working with children must have references and pass a background check.
Donate food & supplies for our Jacob’s Ladder Mentor Groups

If you’d like to be a part of the Lord’s work in Gurley, we invite you to join us! Currently we are in need of snacks for our Jacob’s Ladder youth mentor programs. We host over 40 kids each week. The snacks you provide help them to feel at home when they come to The Refuge and keep them focused while we’re together.
